Our role

TheGarageLocator is an online booking and comparison platform connecting drivers with independent garages and vehicle service providers.

Repairs, servicing, MOTs and related automotive work are carried out by independent garages, not by TheGarageLocator itself.

Using the platform

By using our platform, you agree to provide accurate information, use the service lawfully and avoid any activity that could harm the platform, garages or other users.

Bookings

When making a booking, you agree to provide accurate vehicle, service and contact details. Garages are responsible for confirming appointment availability, pricing and the final scope of work required.

Booking times and availability displayed on the platform may occasionally change due to garage scheduling or operational requirements.

Pricing and payments

Prices displayed on the platform are based on information provided by garages and may vary depending on vehicle condition, additional parts, diagnostics or extra repair work identified during inspection.

Unless otherwise stated, payments are made directly to the garage carrying out the work.

Cancellations and changes

If you need to cancel or rearrange a booking, you should contact the garage as soon as possible. Individual garages may apply their own cancellation or rescheduling policies.

Garage accounts

Garages are responsible for keeping their profile information, pricing, services, availability and contact details accurate and up to date.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove garage profiles that breach platform rules or provide misleading information.

Reviews and content

Reviews and feedback must be honest, relevant and based on real customer experiences. We may remove content that is abusive, misleading, fraudulent or unlawful.

Limitation of liability

TheGarageLocator is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality or completion of work carried out by independent garages.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect platform changes, legal requirements or operational updates. The latest version will always be available on this page.
